A legendary name in the world of motocross, Maico made their name by producing high quality MX bikes which proved to be serious contenders in most classes. Though never as technologically advanced as the Japanese factories, Maico motocross bikes were strong, fast machines that remained competitive in the 'Open Classes' until the company's demise in the late 1980's. They are still highly sought after machines in classic 'twinshock' and vintage MX competition today.
